Following Government guidelines and advice from my Local Authority, Jewellery making experience days and bespoke jewellery consultation have now resumed!

EXPERIENCE DAYS

Due to COVID-19, the experience days are cancelled until further notice. I hope to be able to reopen them in the near future and will update this webpage when I feel safe to restart.

BESPOKE JEWELLERY

I am not taking any new commissions at present. Due to Government restrictions I am unable to do in-person consultations as the Government has mandated the closure of close contact services. These consultations are a vital part of the bespoke jewellery process and without them I am unable to make jewellery to the high standards expected. It is impossible to test the different materials and finishes under different lighting conditions and get the necessary accurate measurements remotely. Trying to do so will inevitably lead to ill fitting and uncomplementary jewellery that is no different to buying off the shelf. Also, as wood is non-malleable, it is impossible to modify a piece once made, therefore, the slightest mistake in measurement or material choice will render the whole piece unusable. As each piece requires many hours of dedicate work, the risk of producing a piece that is unusable is too high and would not be fair to you or me. When Government restrictions are lifted and I feel safe and confident to restart consultations I will update this page to let you know.
